Text Box: Appointment of Temporary Board Members Text Box: In July of this year, proxy ballots for the board election were mailed out before the community meeting. We unfortunately did not have quorum at the meeting and did not receive enough proxy ballots back to establish quorum either. Due to the necessity of having a full Board of Trustees to operate the daily needs of the community and address the concerns of our homeowners, three individuals have been asked to join the Board temporarily. These individuals and job functions are: Sally Cline (Financial & Operations), Karin Ramos (Legal & Communications), Christine Solieri (Legal and Communications). Each temporary member has signed an agreement to serve on the board for a minimum of 6 months but no more than one year. Board President, James Lawerence (Financial) and Michelle Ross (Operations) remain on the board. Text Box: OUTSTANDING BALANCES Text Box: There is a substantial amount of outstanding balances due to the community. We can not afford to perform work when only 80% of the dues are being paid. For example, in the month of September dues collected totaled $17263.96. Our expenses were $18538.33. If everyone paid we would be collecting $21938.00. These individuals are hurting us all because we are unable to efficiently operate the community. Judgments and liens will be placed against the owner’s personal assets, up to and including taking the unit from the owner and selling the unit at auction. We will be contacting individuals who have critical delinquent accounts to discuss settlements but will not suspend our lawyers pursuit until all money is collected.
